Knowing vs. Acting

Detailed study is required to adequately assess problems. But it is easy to fall into the trap of searching for deeper and greater detail, with the hope that the solution will suddenly become clear and unavoidable. Knowing everything about a problem, however, and acting to address it, often seem to be totally different processes altogether.
